Website—Organizing and Policy Work: Perfect Union Working Group

Community Organizing

PerfectUnion.net

The Working Group of Perfectunion.net is comprised of community organizers in the United States engaged in the struggle to end discrimination in the institution of marriage. Our focus is on supporting grassroots activists who are organizing direct action campaigns and civil disobedience activities. We want our site to become a place where diverse activists talk together and reflect on our collective organizing efforts.

The Working Group of Perfectunion.net is responsible for regular postings on the site. Together this body writes and approves the content, designs and updates the site, responds to mail and other communications, and meets regularly to strategize about the work of democratizing marriage. The group includes the following people:

Jeff Brandenburg is a technologist and graphic designer.

María Corral-Ribordy is a mother, a graduate student in education, and an activist.

Dan Derdula is a graphic designer and art director.

Eric Rofes is a community organizer, activist, and academic.

Diane Sabin is a 52 year old Jewish Lesbian feminist who continues to work for a democratic society that is just and compassionate and based on the knowledge that we are all here on the planet together.

While some of the members of the working group are new to activism, others of us are veteran organizers. We welcome new members, so please contact us if you want to join in and take on tasks.

To communicate with the Perfect Union Working Group, send us an email at activists@perfectunion.net. We check our email regularly and will get back to you as soon as we
